CCLF: Early Words Program

The Canadian Children’s Literacy Foundation approached VMG with the opportunity to create an explainer video to help families and professionals understand how important creating a language rich environment is in setting a child up for a successful future.

We pitched the concept of using lightbulbs to represent the various characters, using different bulbs for the different stages of a child’s life and to represent the many professionals that have a big part to play in their early development.

The world is a mix of bright, glowing colours, gritty lines, and real objects that match the playfulness of a child and gives a sense of excitement to the experiences of play and learning you can provide your child with.

I was involved in the concept development, design, and animation of the piece.
